You can say what you want about it, but you can count on hip hop help brand you business to new heights. Since Souja Boy's first draw from a book bag to rap star Kodak Black name drops. Century Arms is getting some really good publicity. Though to the world of hip hop this gun seems new it really isn't. Firearms in this class have been around for a while now. I talk about the Kel-tec PLR-16 in another post. As a guy always on the hunt for a new weapon, this just drives the price up. Let me give you the specs and a little background on the Draco.
The Draco is a semi-automatic pistol with a ten round or 30 round capacity detachable magazine. The Draco Pistol, while designed for sporting use, has as its design inspiration of the famous AK-47 rifle designed by Milhail Kalashnikov of Russia. Featuring double locking lugs, unlocking raceway, and trigger mechanism are clearly derived form the earlier American M1 Grand Rifle. The safety lever is surprisingly similar to the John Browning-
designed Remington Model 8 rifle. These designs make it a compact, reliable and highly durable package. Some of you shouldn't be too happy. It''s not for sale in NJ, MA, NY, CA, CT, HI or where prohibited by law.
The fascination with these types of gun are for all the wrong reasons...technically. See people like the fact that it's a rifle but it's a pistol. Which isn't really true. It's a pistol and that is that. By law being that it can not have a butt stock and the barrel is shorter than 14". Lets say you were to buy one and fit a stock on it. Well then you'd be going to jail if you don't have a class III license. With a stock it's considered a SBR or short barreled rifle. That's illegal for the average gun owner. Since firearm manufacturers are about that business many have contributed to this type of weapon. You can find
them in multiple calibers such as .223 and 9mm. Some models to check out are the PLR-16 by kel-tec, HK MP5, Beretta JXP, Diamondback Pistol .223 and Sig P516G22. I'll do you one sold and give you a link to budsgunshop.com to check out their rifle type handguns.
